Berna A. Uzundağ

I currently hold the position of Assistant Professor of Psychology at Kadir Has University in Turkey, where I direct the Child and Family Research Lab. My research is primarily centered around children's cognitive development, specifically focusing on areas such as language acquisition, self-regulation, and attention. I am passionate about exploring how these cognitive processes are shaped by various social and environmental factors, including the dynamics of parent-child interactions, socioeconomic influences, and the impact of screen-based technology use.

My academic journey has led me to attain a PhD in Psychology from Koç University, where I had the valuable experience of contributing to the Language and Communication Development Lab. Prior to that, I completed my M.A. degree in Cognitive Science and obtained my B.S. degree in Computer Engineering, both from Boğaziçi University in Istanbul.
