I am currently an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Özyeğin University in Türkiye, where I direct the Child and Family Research Lab. My research focuses on how children's everyday social and digital environments shape the development of attention, language, and self-regulation. Through longitudinal studies, naturalistic observations, and experimental research, our goal is to understand the developmental mechanisms linking early experiences to later cognitive outcomes.
I hold a B.S. in Computer Engineering and an M.A. in Cognitive Science from Boğaziçi University. I earned my Ph.D. in Psychology from Koç University, where I conducted research in the Language and Communication Development Lab.
